Not long left to go until the debut edition of Risen which will be taking place this weekend across Hackney Wick for an all-day and night celebration of the divine feminine. Run by the women of Percolate Music, Risen was founded to support up and coming artists while giving a platform to the established crews known for their progressive bookings and work in the electronic music scene.
London-based emerging DJ mi-el has become well-immersed in the city’s underground scene in the short time since her return. She’s the co-booker and designer for the legendary South London club Venue MOT and an integral figure behind the Late Night Shopper streaming platform. Outside of this, mi-el has played for esteemed platforms and clubs such as Corsica Studios, Keep Hush, NTS and HÖR Berlin. Now mi-el brings her bold approach to mixes to the 909 series. Definitely one to watch and a big TIP for Risen this weekend!
