Hysteria Temple Foundation was formed in 2019 as a musical partnership between two French artists., Paul and Samy. Launching their own label, HTF, the duo have been focusing on deeper, psychedelic soundscapes, bridging the gap between ambient, techno and bass-heavy rhythms. The first release ‘Athrahasis’ featured Gabriella Vergilov and the second is scheduled to be released next week, 17th March, featuring Alina Pash. Titled ‘Ritual’, the record includes one of my favourite tracks of the moment, ‘Carpathian Ritual’. And later this year they will be debuting a Hysteria Temple Foundation live show in France for Positive Education.
Inviting us into their world, the mix they’ve pulled together for 909 moves “from darkness to light, from hypnotic shamanic beats to piercing bass sounds dominated with an intoxicating and primary rhythm. Board the ship for a journey through our senses and our deepest emotions,” says the duo.
