Our next festival takeover sees another local favourite – the fun-loving Field Maneuvers – take the reins. Celebrating their 10th(!) anniversary this year, Field Maneuvers returns with their biggest line-up yet at the intimate secret Norfolk location. With a strong mixture of local legends and international talent on the bill, inviting the likes of Black Artist Database, Dialled In, Rye Wax, Kindred, Dalston Superstore and more to do stage takeovers, it’s set to be a scorcher!
For the first mix in this takeover we head to NY baby with DJ Wawa! Hit Factory Records co-founder and The Lot Radio resident, DJ Wawa provides us with a live recording of a recent set from the famed Hot Mass party in Pittsburgh. Speaking about the recording, DJ Wawa says, “it was recorded with an E&S DJR 400 rotary which is where all that isolating came from. I think I used cdjs for one song. Rest are records. Hopefully the set at FM gets as freaky as this one did. felt very fun and good in the room. Some fun twists and turns :)”
