Kasper Marott releases new EP ‘Forever Mix’ on Courtesy’s Kulør imprint

Out today, it’s the Danish producer’s first release for the label.

‘Forever Mix’ is the second release on Courtesy’s newly founded imprint, following the V/A compilation ‘Kulør 1’. The EP features two records which highlight two different sides to Kasper’s productions with ‘Drømmen om Ø (Forever Mix ’19)’ a 14-minute downtempo journey whilst ‘Sky Dreams’ draws from his hometown’s lust for floor-crushing beats.

The vinyl will come with an A2 poster of the artwork by Japanese artist Yoshunori Mizutani.

Speaking about the release Courtesy says, “I’ve been eager to work with Kasper Marott for a number of years and I’m so grateful that Kulør 002 will feature two stunning tracks of his. I’ve been a fan since Marott was a teenager. Across different tempos and genres, he always manages to make dance music with a singular, clear voice. When I listen to the two tracks on Kasper’s record, I get this sense of being surrounded by wild birds, so in terms of artwork, we ended up looking for a photographer who could put a radical twist on wildlife and bird photography. Our search lead us to the Japanese artist Yoshinori Mizutani, whose powerful photography will feature on the cover and poster for the release. ”
