Daytimers and No Nazar to host 24-hour live stream in support of the Farmers Protest in India

The team behind Daytimers and No Nazar are coming together to present a special all-day charity live stream in solidarity with Protesting Farmers in India this weekend, Saturday 13th March. Including a host of South-Asian DJs, there will be sets from Ahadadream, Yung Singh, Jyoty, Anu, Nabihah Iqbal, Raji Rags, Manara and an anonymous DJ collective from India among others.

Since September 2020, farmers in India have been protesting against the new laws passed by the government which will see them dismantle the current committee structure and have a devastating impact on the farmer’s livelihoods. For more information, here is a list of resources by popular and independent news outlets covering the protests.

The stream will be raising funds for Khalsa Aid who provide humanitarian aid in disaster areas and civil conflict zones around the world. Khalsa Aid International are directly supporting the protests on the ground through their India team, who are working tirelessly to provide langar (a communal meal) and other essential commodities at this time.

All timings are in GMT and you can watch the live stream/donate here.
